Tamil castes

According to me, agriculture is the mist sacred profession in this world and I am proud that I belong to one of such agricultural community.

A person wealth in villages of TN was seen by the acres of land and no of cows he possessed.

Thus 70% of Tamils belong to the agricultural community and among them some held/ hold good area of agricultural land.

Apart from this many more Tamil castes do farming but they have less lands compared to these 5 castes.

Non Tamil castes

Among non Tamils, the Vatukar castes or Telugu's hold good % of agricultural lands in Tamil Nadu .

Mainly the lands are owned by Kamma Naidus, Reddyars and Naicker community eventhough their population is less.
